Mayfield School recently celebrated the remarkable artistic talents of our GCSE and A-Level students with our annual Art and Ceramic Exhibition. The exhibition was held in the beautiful Cloisters from Mayfield Day and ran for two weeks, showcasing the incredible works of our students. Parents, parishioners, and art enthusiasts were invited to marvel at the vibrant and imaginative pieces on display, which took them on a journey from the initial concept to the final creation.
We are incredibly proud of our art department, which includes art, ceramics, and textiles, and we are constantly amazed by the talents of our girls. Their dedication, creativity, and passion for art are truly inspiring.
The exhibition was a testament to their hard work and dedication, and we were thrilled to see so many outstanding pieces on display. In fact, out of the 17 girls who took an art subject for A-Level last year, an impressive 16 achieved an A* or A grade. This is a remarkable achievement that demonstrates the excellence of our art department and the exceptional talents of our students.
We would like to extend our congratulations to all the students involved in the exhibition and to our art teachers who have guided them throughout their artistic journey. Their tireless efforts have paid off, and we are proud to showcase their work in this spectacular exhibition.
