Letter from Lady Chantal Davies

Mayfield School News

Dear Old Cornelians,

I am writing to advise you that, unfortunately, the Headmistress Antonia Beary requires further medical treatment, and this will necessitate her absence from Mayfield for the remaining weeks of this term, and the Summer term.

To support Antonia during this period, our excellent Senior Deputy Head, Mrs Niamh Green, will resume the role of Acting Head for the remainder of the Spring term and Governors will be appointing an Interim Head for the Summer term.

The arrangements for OC liaison remain unchanged: Mrs Cora Saint continues to lead the Admissions, Marketing and Development teams, including Mrs Narelle Morson, with whom many of you have been in contact since she joined the team last September.  Narelle will remain your day-to-day point of contact for OC communication with the School.  Please do not hesitate to contact Narelle at oldcornelians@mayfieldgirls.org at any time.

I know you will join me and all at Mayfield in keeping Antonia in our thoughts and prayers as she commences her treatment.

With my best wishes,

Lady Davies of Stamford
Chairman of Governors
