Mayfield welcomes Interim Head, Mr Jonathan Forster, who joins the School this term whilst our Headmistress, Miss Antonia Beary, takes a period of leave to receive medical treatment. Mr Forster has a long and distinguished career as Head of Moreton Hall, a girls’ independent day and boarding school in Shropshire, which he led with great success for 27 years. He identifies strongly with Mayfield’s ethos and will provide the School with continuity and sound leadership in Miss Beary’s absence this term. We welcome Mr Forster and his wife Paula to the Mayfield community, and we keep Miss Beary in our thoughts and prayers.
