In June, we came together as a vibrant Catholic community to celebrate a significant milestone: the Confirmation of 28 parishioners, including nine Mayfield girls. The sacramental celebration took place in our beautiful Chapel, where we gathered to witness the gift of the Holy Spirit being bestowed upon these young individuals.
The day began with a special pre-Confirmation lunch, where family, staff, and students came together to share in the joy and anticipation of this important occasion. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and gratitude as we prepared to mark this significant moment in the lives of our Mayfield girls.
Following the Confirmation ceremony, we celebrated with a delightful reception, complete with cake and champagne. It was a lovely opportunity for everyone to come together and congratulate the newly confirmed individuals on their achievement.
We were honored to welcome back Bishop Richard to celebrate this special occasion. His words of wisdom and encouragement inspired all who were present.
The Confirmation celebration was a heartwarming reminder of the importance of community and faith in our lives. We're grateful for the opportunity to share in these special moments with our students, families, and staff, and we're thrilled to see our girls grow in their faith journey.
