In November, we celebrated musical excellence at Mayfield with our annual St Cecilia’s Concert, honouring the patron saint of music.
Our talented Music Scholars and gifted musicians treated us to an unforgettable evening featuring everything from Baroque cello sonatas to Michael Jackson, with Gershwin and Smetana in between.
This year, we were thrilled to showcase some exciting firsts, including a stunning drum-kit performance and a captivating piece on the guzheng, a traditional Chinese instrument.
A huge well done to all the performers for such a varied and confident showcase of talent!
