OC News |
Old Cornelians from the Class of 1982 came together in August to rekindle old friendships, share life stories and reminisce about their time at school.
Some of the attendees came from as close by as Mayfield village and as far afield as the United States to share a day together under gloriously sunny skies in Mayfield. Mass in the School Chapel was followed by lunch in the Courtyard, tours around the school and afternoon tea. The OCs were delighted to see each other and the school grounds again, and they had the special treat of spending time with Sr Jean and Sr Maria as well as current headmistress, Antonia Beary. After the reunion, many of the OCs stayed over in a hotel together in nearby Tunbridge Wells where, we understand, the laughs and memories continued to be shared right through breakfast the next morning.
Photos of the weekend (and a few from the OCs' school days) are available in a special photo album on our dedicated online community, OC CONNECT. To view the album as well as other OCs-only photos and personal news, please click on the link below and join the conversation! Once you have created an online account, we invite you to add your own updates, memories and photos and to connect with your friends directly (if they have created an account).
News of other reunions can be viewed in the 'Community Page' section on the website, available only to registered community members.
