On 15th January we celebrated what would have been the 215th birthday of our beloved foundress, Cornelia Connelly, with a beautiful Mass, a whole school quiz, a celebratory lunch and, of course, cake! Both dining rooms were adorned with blue and white balloons, creating a festive atmosphere.
Her enduring influence shapes our Actions Not Words program, with her Cornelian principles—Joy, Compassion, Integrity, Generosity, Gratitude, Respect, and Courage—remaining fundamental to the essence of a Mayfield education!
Mass on this day was celebrated for all deceased Old Cornelians.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen.
