Our American Friends

We were thrilled to welcome Joanne Campbell, of Rosemont College in Pennsylvania, USA, to Mayfield in June. Jo was in the UK on holiday, but she made sure to prioritise a visit to Mayfield, which holds a special place in her heart. Her reason for coming was twofold: she wanted to connect with the school and pay her respects to Mother Cornelia. We were delighted to welcome Jo to Mayfield and catch up on all the latest news from Rosemont.

In another exciting visit, we welcomed Brian Topping and his wife Mimi last week. Brian has spent an impressive 32 years working at Oak Knoll School in New Jersey, USA, and has always had a strong connection to Mayfield. This was his first visit to the school, and he was blown away by the incredible talent on display at our Art and Ceramic Exhibition as well as our Equestrian department. For two days, Brian and Mimi immersed themselves in Mayfield's rich heritage and were left in awe of the school's many strengths.

We're always thrilled to welcome old friends and new faces to Mayfield, and these visits are a testament to the enduring bond between our school and its community. Whether it's a chance to reconnect with old friends or explore new experiences, we're grateful for the opportunity to share our school with others and create lasting memories.
